Architects of Resilience

Architects of Resilience is a stand-alone compendium of evidence on how community engagement and community-led monitoring shift marginalised voices from the margins to the centre of pandemic preparedness and response. From the digital rebirth of community monitoring in Kenya and Malawi, where mobile platforms and real-time dashboards inform government decisions, to innovative media strategies countering disinformation in Liberia, COPPER shows how technical assistance and regional knowledge hubs can localise complex concepts for diverse populations. Comparable innovations are evident in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, Indonesia, and Cambodia, where community actors are embedded in preparedness response structures and contribute to joint reviews, protocols, and oversight.
